The stolen passports on Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 have become a serious concern as the search for the missing Boeing 777 continues. On March 10, NBC News reported that one of the two passengers who boarded the flight with a stolen passport has been identified and his photos have been released to the public. Pouria Nour Mohammad Mehrdad, 19, boarded the flight with an Austrian passport -- but is/was he a terrorist?
"Investigators said that he 'was not likely to be a member of any terrorist group.' ... They believed he was trying to reach to Germany to claim asylum," reports NBC News.
The stolen passports used to board the Malaysia Airlines flight have been a very serious concern since the disappearance of the aircraft over the weekend. Many wonder if the plane's disappearance has anything to do with terrorist activity. Since the plane is still missing and people do not have answers, they have been piecing together the news on their own -- and many signs suggest that this plane didn't "disappear" because of an on board accident.
As previously reported, an Iranian man purchased two tickets for the flight from a location in Thailand. The whole thing sounds really suspicious which has caused rumors about a potential hijacking to fly.
