When the writer was growing up as a child he didn’t think too much about being in the moment or that his life could end abruptly. The writer lived his life as most people do these days, never considering that someday he will die. Lately however the writer has been paying more attention to those stories of people that have suddenly died unexpectedly, especially when a young child or adult passes away. On one hand we should not live in fear of dying because that could make us more paranoid or too cautious to fully enjoy life. But we also cannot live our lives without some thought as to when the end could happen and try to appreciate more those energetic moments in our lives. One online story in particular that has touched the writer’s heart was a young couple that recently lost their 2 year old daughter of what appears to be a kind of sudden infant death syndrome, please click on that article link below. This couple is raising money to give another couple a special stolen moment with their daughter as a way to honor their child that has passed away. The writer was also touched by another article where this other couple recently learned that their 4 year old daughter has a deadly disease that will eventually kill her. Both of these families’ lives have changed and now they are trying to embrace those stolen energetic moments in similar ways. Now in honor of those of those families the writer would like to suggest that other families engage and embrace those stolen or free moments in their lives through their own energetic activities. Because here is the key thing to consider, our lives our full of stolen moments, that we as a society do not take advantage of. Let us all try and embrace the limited life we have though our own stolen moments, please check out video of the writer’s own stolen moment with his child above.
