Christmas is creeping up on us fast. Actually, it seems to come faster and faster every year. The Meadville, PA Walmart actually had Christmas stuff out two months ago and they had it out in bulk. Hopefully you didn’t let Christmas overtake your Halloween and Thanksgiving Day celebrations too much. 

 

It’s time to start thinking about the perfect Christmas present ideas. Stocking stuffers always seem to be the hardest for me to come up with. I can have an entire room full of regular-sized presents, but nothing really fits into that darn Christmas stocking. 

 

To ease my burden and stress over an empty stocking, I put together a list of ideas for smaller items that are meaningful and small enough to go in even the tiniest stocking. 

 

Handmade Candy

 

You don’t have to make the candy by hand yourself, though if you are able to make delicious candies, fudges or other sugary goodies, these may be great Christmas present ideas that are really cheap. Even if you need to buy some handmade fudge or cookies, the price won’t be too extreme and the person you re gifting this to will be absolutely thrilled to find such a treat in their stocking on Christmas morning. 

 

Handmade confectionaries are a gift that people won’t usually buy for themselves because it feels like a waste of money. At the same time though, they love eating them. That’s what makes these perfect as Christmas present ideas. 

 

Matching Body Jewelry Set

 

People with body piercings usually have many different types, styles and dangles to wear, but what many lack is matching sets. Whether it’s just a pair of earrings to match a navel ring or a set of 6 earrings, an eyebrow ring, a nipple ring and a navel ring, the idea is the same: get them something elegant that matches. You don’t have to splurge on diamonds or any other precious stones, but gems in a matching color are probably the easiest to coordinate. Other options that would be easy to find in a variety of shapes and sizes would be cherries, tribal/spiral shapes, Happy Bunny, mythical collections and such similar, popular design ideas. 

 

Scarves

 

Clothing may not be a good idea to buy for most people, due to the fact that the cut of clothing can make such a huge difference, but scarves, especially in the winter, are an almost necessary fashion accessory. Pick some colors you think the giftee will like and stick them on the top of the stocking. The scarf can even be hanging out of the top of the stocking or poofing up over the edges. This visibility will excite people for Christmas, but will also hide the stocking stuffing Christmas present ideas that are tucked away beneath it. 

 

Toys

 

Even big kids like to play with toys that light-up or flash sometimes. Packs of glow sticks, toys that spin and light-up and toy, dart guns make for great stocking stuffers for big and little kids alike. They’re also perfect for that Christmas eve present that tides everyone over until the next morning.
