Death-by-holiday-music...While we waited in a department store check-out line the other day, as the sound system churned out another Bing Crosby classic, we wondered if employees could claim hazard pay for hearing "White Christmas" for the thousandth time. (Wouldn't that be great if it cured our northern California drought!)
All kidding aside, 2013 will soon draw to a close. And music lovers who enjoy listening to new sounds and new renderings of classics need look no further than Vallejo, where musicians who live or work here brought new CDs into the world. And are brightening the holidays with live music.
We're sharing the word we've been hearing about these albums in an ongoing slide show.
Our current slide show includes:
Ariane Cap, Paul Hanson, Nick Phillips and Amber Snider. We have included links to sites where you can purchase their new CDs.
