Rumor has it the 'end of days' will begin May 21, 2011. For those left behind, it might be a good idea to stock up. No one wants to have to run to the grocery store when zombies are roaming.

Whether the end arrives or not, this weekend at the Dallas Farmers Market is well worth a visit. Saturday is the season opener. The DFM's 70th season will feature live music along with fresh produce and artisan foods.

The usual produce this time of year includes blueberries, broccoli, tomatoes and watermelon. Remember to bring reusable bags to carry purchases and be prepared with small bills.

There are several free parking spaces along the market. For those who prefer mass transit, DART offers trip planners to find the best route. Just watch out for zombies.
