On January 11-13, Apricot Lane Boutiques celebrates its relocation to The Streets of Southglenn with a Grand Opening Celebration. Kicking off on Friday, the weekend will feature special offers, a trunk show and a professional fashion show demonstrating looks that can be found in the shop. The event promises to be a fun-filled weekend of fashion. Boutique Owner Chris Revard gives the scoop on the event and the shop’s relocation.
Q: Why did you decide to move to The Streets of Southglenn?
A: We needed a larger space that is more conducive to the boutique concept. The Southglenn store is better suited to the experience that we offer customers.
Q: What can people expect to see and experience during Grand Opening Weekend?
A: It’s going to be a great weekend. On Friday, we are doing a meet and greet. Saturday will feature a sip and shop event with refreshments and a deejay, and also a fashion show with looks from the boutique. On Sunday, we’re hosting a jewelry trunk show with snacks. We’ll also be doing giveaways of random free stuff, and customers can enter to win a $200 gift card.
Q: What types of merchandise is in the store right now?
A: We have a lot of wintery accessories like scarves, dresses and leggings. We also have some early spring pieces such as lighter sweaters.
Q: How is the shopping experience at the Southglenn store different than at Larimer Square?
A: Being located at The Streets of Southglenn gives us the opportunity to be more grounded in the community. We can host more events, and interact with our customers in a more intimate setting. This location is bigger, so customers can browse merchandise more easily.
Q: Explain Apricot Lane to people who’ve never been to the store.
A: We offer the latest and greatest in fashion. We stay on top of trends and carry pieces that are trending in New York and Los Angeles. We also over one-on-one customer service. The boutique environment is more personal than shopping at a big box store, and customers can get great deals on high quality clothes. We offer a lot of variety.
