There are a lot of things going on lately; most of the things are uncertain events. Who is going to be the next Fed Chair? Are we going to attack Syria? Will the Fed slow the easing in September? These questions investors want to know are still uncertain. Markets have been going down since August. The Dow Jones Industrial Index down 4.4% in August alone. Will there be more drop in the markets in September and beyond?
These uncertainties are mostly negatives. Although US manufacture data and jobless claims have improved, these events have a major effect on the stock markets in September. Statistically, September is usually the weak month for stock markets. With these uncertainties, will the stock markets continue its down fall?
It is interesting to see the investors' sentiment. Investors think the whole market will collapse soon; therefore, they are acting in herds which is to sell their stocks. September is tomorrow and we shall see what happens with all these uncertainties.
