It appears that TNA is setting up a main event match between the GM Sting and world champion Robert Roode for the Victory Road PPV in March. According to a Friday February 17th report by PWInsider.com, TNA will most likely announce this match on next week's episode of Impact Wrestling.
Sting and Roode have had a feud building up for the last few months as Sting has constantly made Bobby's world title reign a misery. On Thursday's episode of Impact Wrestling, Roode finally snapped on Sting and bloodied up the GM as Impact came to an end.
Roode had to defend his world title against Jeff Hardy in the opening of Impact Wrestling last night and got the win due to outside interference from Kurt Angle. Sting called out Roode at the end of Impact to have a heated conversation and announce the world title match between Rood and his former tag-team partner James Storm for Lockdown on April 15th.
Roode and Sting will most likely have a grudge match at Victory Road and it's unclear if the belt will be on the line. If I had to guess right now, I would say that the belt won't be on the line since TNA is heavily promoting the April PPV between Roode and Storm for the TNA world title.
