Stimulus, Jobs or no jobs: that is the question!

Daily the President gets up there and talks about how he wants good things, and how his programs are meant to save America! The Patriotic music plays and balloons fly as shots of happy, ecstatic people crying and worshipping him are seen in the background.

Than the facts hit...and those of us who actually care about the facts see them for what they are!
"Economic Policy Institute Sept. 4, 2009 - This morning, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released the employment situation report for August, which is the 20th month of the economic downturn. The report showed an additional 216,000 jobs lost in August for a total of 6.9 million jobs lost this recession." On the plus side of things the job loss may have been over 8 million jobs if it were not for the 787 billion dollars...yes folks there are now 1.1 million people making approximately millions of dollars apiece as a result of the bailouts and recovery programs- or are they?

According to CNN money news "ARRA’s positive results are beginning to trickle in, according to the Economic Policy Institute, a Washington, D.C., research group. Because gross domestic product growth in the second quarter of 2009 would have lost 2% to 3% without the stimulus, nearly 500,000 to 750,000 jobs were saved, says EPI." So in actuality theses people should be making even more right?

NOPE- in fact the companies that took the largest amount of bailouts also have released the largest amount of workers as a general whole- Citi Bank, AIG, Bank of America, and more have all seen MASSIVE lay-offs after accepting and using BILLIONS of dollars of taxpayers monies. In the construction industry over 75,000 jobs since the beginning of the year- so before you pay attention to the bullcrap being peddled and see the 500+ jobs that have been created in Chicago or Los Angeles remember, we are still losing JOBS daily- his bailouts, and congress/ senate- THEY failed.

If you truly believe that supporting MORE government control will fix things than you are sadly out of touch with the reality of the situation. Wake up America before you end up speaking Chinese as part of a new program meant to PAY back the money they have lent us, and are lending us for our Socialist programs!
