With the cooler weather rolling in here in Houston, it's a great time for a 10-mile event. Last year was mighty chilly with a stiff breeze. And since this is the second event of the HARRA fall series of races, you can bet the race should fill up so register now.

There will also be a 2-person relay, so if you haven't boosted your fall mileage yet, you can still kick it with a running buddy. The race this year is slated for Sunday, October 10th at 7AM. As for packet pick-up, you have 3 convenient opportunities:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 6th, 3-6PM at On the Run-Pearland, 10009 Broadway St #101, Pearland

  • Friday, Oct. 8th, noon-6PM at Tri On the Run, 5535 Memorial Dr. Ste. B, Houston

  • Saturday, Oct. 9th, On the Run, 2427 Bay Area Blvd., Houston in Clear Lake Area

The first event in the fall series was the HARRA Cross Country Relay, hosted once again by the Tornados running club. That event was a club team participation for points. The third event will be Koala/Luke's Locker Half Marathon on 10/24/10. It's also the first event of the Houston Marathon Warm Up Series and the 2010 RRCA State Championship Race.
