As speculations continue to spur the imaginations and hopes of gamers worldwide, Nintendo has yet to set a definite release date for the PokeBank and Poke Transporter Apps for the Nintendo 3DS.

Contrary to speculative reports on websites the likes of ChristianPost.com and TheMotoringCrunch.com over the last 48 hours, Nintendo has not confirmed a release date for either of the apps, which would allow gamers to transfer Pokémon from older versions of the series to the newest titles in the series, “Pokémon X & Y.”

The last time Nintendo communicated anything on the applications was January 21 on Twitter, when they said they were available in “certain Asian countries,” but was mum on when they’d head to the United States, Europe and the rest of the world.
