Still Corners album debut 'Creatures of an Hour' out now!

Tessa Murray is the woman behind the haunting voice of Still Corners; the band she created with songwriter, Greg Hughes in 2008. Murray’s vocals combined with the songs of Hughes, emphasizes the mysterious ambiance their music resonates.

Still Corners was best described as “Lynch-esque” by various sources which is probably the most accurate description of their style. A bit dreamy, atmospheric, spooky, strange and beautiful which seems to make a potent elixir.

Their debut full-length album, 'Creatures of an Hour', captures the bands intentions to combine complex musicality with simple lyrics to illustrate the drama of what you might find in a horror film when the protagonist is questioning his/her sanity. The outcome is stunning and captivating. Still Corners will roll in like a fog and linger for awhile leaving you a bit confused but eager for more.
