According to a emailed press release, during the weekend of April 12-13, 2014, The Land of Kush received a surprise visit from a more than invited guest, musician, singer-songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist Stevie Wonder. You should know Naijha Wright and Gregory Brown own vegan restaurant The Land of Kush, where the legendary Stevie wonder dined last weekend.
“I couldn’t believe it. I was like, Oh my God. This is a living legend icon. Are you kidding me?” said Naijha Wright.
According to Brown, StevieWonder stated, "he had recently started eating a vegetarian diet."
Gregory Brown said. “I’ve been a Stevie Wonder fan since knee-high to a grasshopper as my father would say. It’s great that somebody can look you up on the Internet and find you, come down and try your food out. Very exciting!" because Mr. Wonder is a very nice guy.
Brown went on to state that, "Mr. Wonder tried several items on the menu including the signature Kush BBQ Ribz and the food must have hit the right note because he came back for more the very next day. He took pictures with everybody. He also has a sweet tooth and took a few vegan cupcakes and cookies to go!"
