Stevie Nicks has unveiled the release details for her upcoming new studio album titled, 24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault. The collection will consist of self-penned songs, which the two-time Grammy winner recorded over the years, that never made it onto album.

According to an article posted July 24 at RollingStone.com, the Fleetwood Mac star will release her 10th solo effort on Oct. 7 on the Reprise label. '24 Karat Gold' will be the diminutive songstress' follow up to her highly successful 2011 studio album In Your Dreams.

The '24 Karat Gold' artwork will include never-before-seen Polaroid photos the singer-songwriter has taken throughout her career. The package also includes a deluxe photobook CD with 48 pages of photos from her private collection plus two bonus tracks. Fans can also pick up the album in vinyl format, which will arrive a week prior to the CD on Sept. 29.

Nicks has been posting updates on the album's progress at her official Facebook page. Fans can pre-order the album on Aug. 5 and begin previewing songs from the album at the veteran pop rocker's newly opened Instagram account.

Nicks originally unveiled the news of a new album at the BMI Pop Awards held in Los Angeles on May 13, 2014. The sultry voiced singer-songwriter was honoured with the BMI Icon award at the event for her songwriting achievements and revealed that she had recorded "18 tracks in three weeks" during her acceptance speech. Co-produced by Nicks along with ex-Eurythmics co-frontman Dave Stewart and longtime Nick's bandmember and session guitarist Waddy Wachtel, the tracks were newly recorded in Nashville and mixed in Los Angeles.

Nicks will hit the road this fall with the reunited Fleetwood Mac line-up, consisting of newly rejoined Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, and Lindsey Buckingham. The tour kicks off on Sept. 20 in Minneapolis, Minn. at Target Centre and wraps up in on Dec. 14 in Dallas, Texas at American Airlines Centre.
