The two-time Grammy winner premiered the video on Sept. 4 at Elle.com. Along with the music video, fans can also check out an accompanying video commentary by Nicks on the song's background. The re-recorded song, also know by the title "Knocking on Doors," evolved from a 5:30 minute demo, which was written and recorded during sessions for Buckingham Nicks in 1971 prior to find fame with Fleetwood Mac, which never made the album

The 5:00 minute video features the enduring pop diva performing the piano ballad alone on a large stage in an empty theatre. Written 43 years ago, the lyrics focus on Nick's insecurity about the future from the perspective of her mid-20s. "The time keeps going on by, and I wonder what is to become of me," she sings. "And I'm unsure, I can't see my way/ And he says, 'Lady, you don't have to see.'"

Nicks rearranged and re-recorded the demo in the studio and has included it among 14 songs on "24 Karat Gold." The album is a collection of self-penned songs, which the pop diva recorded over the years, but never released on an album. Co-produced by Nicks along with ex-Eurythmics co-frontman Dave Stewart and longtime Nick's bandmember and session guitarist Waddy Wachtel, the tracks were newly recorded in Nashville and mixed in Los Angeles.

Nicks previously previewed six other tracks from the album, including "The Dealer," "If You were My Love," "Mabel Normand," "Belle Fleur," "All the Beautiful Worlds," "I Don't Care" and "Hard Advice." "24 Karat Gold" is available for pre-order and will be released Oct. 7 on the Reprise label. Click here for more information.

The diminutive songstress will hit the road this fall with the reunited Fleetwood Mac classic line-up, which will include the newly rejoined Christine McVie. The tour kicks off the tour in on Sept. 20 in Minneapolis, Minneapolis, at Target Centre and wrap up in on Dec. 14 in Dallas, Texas, at American Airlines Centre. For more information, click here.
