Stevie Crooks lands a spot a Paid Dues 2013 (Photos)

Inland Empire rap artist Stevie Crooks officially was added to the line-up for The Paid Dues 2013 Festival. During a live interactive webcast, Paid Dues Festival Curator Murs made the announcement for the final lineup for the groundbreaking Hip Hop festival. Murs referred to Crooks as an "Artist I've been watching for a while now."

Crooks started a Paid Dues Campaign similar to that of fellow Inland Empire rap artists Curtiss King and Noa James. Although Crooks didn't receive the nod because of his campaign efforts he did get the stamp of approval directly from Murs via a direct phone call on January 22, 2013. Crooks popularity has been on a steady rise since the release of his tremendously tantalizing mixtape VLNS NVR DIE. The success of the project led to a collaboration with streetwear icon LRG and his Cashmere Killer LP.

Crooks joins an impressive lineup which features the likes of the aforementioned Curtiss King and Noa James, Joey Bada$$, Scarface, Talib Kweli, Trinidad James, Juicy J, The Black Hippy Crew and De La Soul. Black Cloud Music, who serves as the recording home of Curtiss King and Noa James; will be hosting one of the stages at the event. For more info visit Paid Dues 2013 here @PaidDues
