Steven Tyler is going to testify about privacy issues for celebrities. On Feb. 7, Huffington Post reported that the ex-judge of "American Idol" will be at a legislative hearing in Hawaii to testify.
This is to try to make it where people can't take pictures as easily when it comes to celebrities. It is actually called the Steven Tyler Act after the singer. This bill would actually let them collect damages from someone if they take bad pictures of them during personal or family time. This would limit the photographs fans get to see though.
Several different celebrities including Avril Lavigne are for the bill. They want their privacy and are ready to just be able to do what they want with their families.
This bill would be for any celebrity even if they didn't help to get it passed. Steven is down there to help make sure it goes through. Do you think they should have their privacy from sites such as TMZ? Sound off in the comments below.
