Steven Tyler, the aging rock icon, recently showed off his $1.1 million car. The price of Tyler's car would pay for as many as seven homes in many areas around the U.S. today. According to Rumor Fix on Monday, March 11, 2013 the Aerosmith frontman's handbuilt convertible is called the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder.
This is the world's fastest car to be allowed on city streets. In 15.9 seconds this car can go from 0 to 200 MPH. Tyler's car is one of only five of this model made in 2013. It's a good thing Steven waited to get this racing buggy until he was long passed his partying days. One hates to think what the Steve Tyler of yesteryear would have done with a car that hits 200 MPH in a quarter of a minute.
Tyler was at the Stuart House benefit in West Hollywood on Sunday when he showed off his new wheels in front of John Varvatos. Who knew in the 70s when Tyler belted out “Dream On” around the local clubs of New England that he'd actually dream on enough to be driving a car worth over a million bucks in his senior years? Not to mention still looking good while doing it!
