Aerosmith's Steven Tyler was one of the performers who paid tribute to Paul McCartney at "The Kennedy Center Honors" with a rockin' adaptation of the "Abbey Road" medley.
This wasn't the first time Tyler had tackled a Beatles song from "Abbey Road." He and Aerosmith sang "Come Together" in the now infamous film "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" back in the '70s.
Also paying tribute to Paul were actor Alec Baldwin, No Doubt, who sang a medley of Beatle songs, including "Hello Goodbye," "All My Loving" and "Penny Lane"; Dave Grohl and Norah Jones with the Rob Mathes Band, who performed "Maybe I'm Amazed" and James Taylor and Mavis Staples, who sang "Let It Be" and "Hey Jude."

Not very impressed with Tyler's performance. The video retrospective on Paul was good. Wonder if there were any unreleased nuggets in there or were they just all Anthology cuts?
Wow, a stunning performance totaly worthy of the standing ovation Tyler received. Even Paul looked proud.
