Steven Tyler is engaged to longtime girlfriend Erin Brady. Tyler was seen in Hawaii during the Christmas holiday with the 38-year old model, who made no attempts to hide her huge engagement ring.
Tyler and Brady met during the filming of Aerosmith’s “You Gotta Move” DVD, and have been dating for over five years.
Tyler’s family has reportedly been opposed to the engagement, citing past family disputes involving Brady. There has also been grumblings concerning the vast age difference between Brady and Tyler, who is 63-years old.
Tyler is set to start his second season as judge of FOX’s American Idol. He reportedly makes $18 million a year on the show, and is signed to a two-year contract. However, sources say Tyler is seeking a huge pay raise after hearing about the negotiations that resulted in a hefty pay increase for fellow American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez.
