Maria’s Big House of Hope the medical care center and ministry founded by Nashville's Steven Curtis Chapman and Mary Beth Chapman, recently celebrated the one year anniversary of its opening. Maria’s Big House of Hope provides medical care for special needs orphans, from newborn to age five, who need of surgery and medical attention. Having their medical needs met helps not only is good for the health of the orphans, but it increases their chances of being adopted.
Over 200 orphans have been cared for at Maria’s Big House this past year. Each child received love and medical attention at the facility, and many of these orphans have been adopted.
Located in Luoyang, China, Maria’s Big House of Hope was named after the Chapman's 5-year old daughter, Maria Sue Chapman who was killed in a tragic accident in 2008.
