The legendary Steve Winwood will play The Fillmore Silver Spring on Thursday, December 12, 2013 with Maryland's own Cris Jacobs opening the show. The all ages show is scheduled to start at 8 PM and ticket information can be found at the venue's website.

Steve Winwood is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame due to his work in the group Traffic. He was also the lead vocalist in Blind Faith with Eric Clapton and The Spencer Davis Group. Winwood has also had a successful solo career earning two Grammy Awards and his songs "Higher Love" and "Roll With It" each topped a Billboard Chart.
