Old school legend Steve Steadham remains active in the skateboarding scene, not only by participating in many Master class contests but also pushing the newer generations of rippers into the sphere of competition.
That is the idea behind the Steve Steadham Spyder Cup, scheduled to take place on September 19, at the Angels Stadium (in Anaheim, CA).
As many as 500 amateurs will compete in two street categories: best trick and game of s-k-a-t-e.
The entry fee is $20 for one event and $25 for both. The prize purse is $3,500.
The competition is sidelining another happening, The Great Vehicle Adventure, a family-oriented show that features custom and race cars, trucks and other unique motor vehicles.
Other prominent skaters are planned to make appearances: Mike McGill, Tony Magnusson and Julie Kindstrand. Steadham will also performing live along with his band, Citizen X Posse.
