Steve Mason's zombie helmet is the perfect distraction for Walking Dead fans who are suffering withdrawal pangs in between seasons of their favorite AMC television series.

Philadelphia Flyers goalie Steve Mason debuted the new zombie helmet on Fri., Jan. 24, 2014, and it is already making headlines with its gory depictions of Jakub Voracek, Wayne Simmonds and Scott Hartnell as undead corpses, according to FOX Sports.

The Steve Mason zombie helmet even made an appearance when the Flyers played the Boston Bruins one day after the inventive headwear's debut, as can be seen in the photo on the left.

It seems like everyone is always worrying about how to survive the zombie apocalypse. See the video at the top of the page for more details on what to do when World War Z finally strikes. For now, it's nice to see Steve Mason having a little fun with the zombie craze with his zombie helmet.
