Comedienne Steve Martin has reportedly welcomed the arrival of his first child at the age of 67. Gossip Cop reported on Wednesday, Feb. 13 that the former "Saturday Night Live" regular, and his wife Anne Stringfield, 41, gave birth to their child in December.
Steve Martin, nor his camp have officially confirmed the news as of yet, but Martin and his wife of nearly six years were reportedly spotted with their new child near their L.A. home. A source close to the situation revealed to The Sun: “They've had a baby, and how they kept it a secret nobody knows. Steve's very private.
“They are thrilled. They worked hard to have the baby.”
Steve Martin is best known as an American actor, comedian, musician, author, playwright, and producer. Martin got his start with the as a writer for the Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, and later became a frequent guest on "The Tonight Show" in the 1970s,
In 2004, Steve Martin was ranked by Comedy Central at sixth place in a list of the 100 greatest stand-up comics.
