Steve Harvey's bestselling 'Think Like a Man' becomes a feature length film

The bestselling self-help book, 'Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man', penned by famed comedian/actor/radio/TV host and apparent relationship guru, Steve Harvey is headed to a theater near you. The book is going to be translated into a feature length drama, one using many of the premises from Harvey's book and turning them into dramatized situations based around the lives of a group of 20 and 30-somethings.

Monroe residents can catch 'Think Like a Man' at Cinemark Cinema 10, located in the Pecanland Mall at 4700 Millhaven Rd. in Monroe, or at Cinemark Tinseltown, 220 Blanchard St. in West Monroe.

The premise of Harvey's book is that women have so much trouble in relationships due to their failure to understand the male species. He encourages ladies to think like men, offering them many of his own insights into how men think and feel, and how women can use this knowledge to better relate with their spouses/lovers/partners.

Director Bryan Singer, of 'X-Men' and it's sequel, 'X2: X-Men United' updates 'Jack and the Beanstalk' for a new generation with new film, 'Jack the Giant Killer'. (View trailer here.)

The movie inserts the actual book into the story and explores what happens when a group of women, played by such varied actresses as Gabrielle Union, Meagan Good, Taraji P. Henson and Regina Hall decide to put the teachings of Harvey's tome to the test.

Think Like a Man gets "mannish" on March 9.
