Burton has signed a new contract with “The Young & the Restless,” much to the delight of “Y&R” and Dylan fans. This comes just after a picture of Burton as Jason Morgan was shown on “General Hospital” as a way to lure Robin into helping Victor. The show is clearly setting things up for Jason Morgan to still be alive, but now Steve Burton has confirmed that if the character is back, it clearly will be with a new actor.

While “General Hospital” fans would dearly love to have Burton return to the fold, “The Young & the Restless” and long-time Burton fans are glad to hear he's happy with the gig he's got going. What does the future hold for the character of Dylan? Fans will have to keep tuning in to “Y&R” to find out.
