Howard Stern weighed in on 'We Are the World 25 for Haiti' Tuesday morning, saying that the remake lacked real celebrities and that first line singer Justin Bieber "sounds like a chic".
"It's all sh---y kind of scrub types," Howard Stern said of the 80 performers who gathered to remake the 1985 hit to benefit those effected by the earthquake in Haiti.
Howard Stern Show producer Gary "Baba Booey" Dell'Abate used a Justin Bieber analogy to put 'We Are the World 25' in perspective.
"Gary said it was horrible," Howard Stern told co-host Robin Quivers before replaying the song on-air. "I asked him why and he said: 'Because Justin Bieber isn't Paul Simon'."
"Justin Bieber?" asked Howard Stern. "I don't even know who that is," then commented: "He sounds like a chick" when he heard Bieber sing the first line.

Howard Stern wasn't limiting his criticism to 15-year-old pop star Bieber, though. Stern wasn't a fan of legendary singer Barbra Streisand's work on 'We Are the World 25' either. "I don't even know why people get excited about her. You couldn't pay me to go to one of her concerts," he said after Streisand's line.
Howard Stern then took the Billy Crystal position on 'We Are the World 25'. "It's not fun," he said.
Baba Booey could barely control his rage at the lack of legendary performers: "There's not even any legendary people there," he steamed. "Then they all rap in autotune."
Howard Stern cut off Booey's replay of the 'We Are the World' remake after about a minute, saying that he couldn't stand it any longer and moved on to pop culture topics he found more bearable including Tiger Woods and more discussion of rumors surrounding Simon Cowell's replacement on American Idol.
