Stephenson pulls a ‘Mayweather’ and poses with a million bucks on Instagram

Lance Stephenson got people talking with his antics anew, this time on social media, after posting a photo on his Instagram account with what appeared to be $1 million dollars in cold, hard cash a-la boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

Of course, in this day and age of social media, people will react and overreact without a second of thought. Many jumped on Stephenson assuming he was behaving like Mayweather, who flaunts and brags about his money through social media and at his boxing promotions.

The money was actually a “prop” in one of the Pacers’ locker rooms for a talk organized by the organization that tackled money management. And in typical Lance fashion, he just decided to have a little fun with it.

Financially, real fun might come after this season for Stephenson, as he is set to earn a multi-million contract after upping his game in the last couple of seasons.
