Stephenie Meyer has a big hit with 'The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: A Twilight Novella'

Stephenie Meyer has another major hit publication on her hands with the novella The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, which takes place in the Twilight world.  It was just announced that the book has sold over a million copies since being released on June 5.  That's not bad, especially since it was available to be read on the internet for free!

Bree Tanner, by the way, is a relatively minor character from the third Twilight novel, Eclipse, which is being released in theaters tomorrow (Wednesday morning at midnight, if you want to get technical).  We only get a tiny glimpse of Bree in the Eclipse novel, and the novella only shows us the final days in her vampire life leading up to the events in Eclipse.

You can still read The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner online for free through July 5.  And if you're gearing up to see The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner) tomorrow at midnight, you can still get tickets online for some Houston theaters through Fandango.
