Stephen Colbert gave The View a taste of its own idiocy Tuesday, mocking co-hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg by storming out of his own interview.

Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar walked off the set of The View on Thursday after taking offense to statements that guest BIll O'Reilly made about the Muslim religion.

Colbert's Comedy Central show The Colbert Report has been satirzing Bill O'Reilly since 2005. Colbert regularly refers to O'Reilly as "Papa Bear" on his show, severely confusing those with no sense of irony (like The View audience).
"Well, because I'm on your show, I agree with Whoopi," said Colbert. "I think there should be mosques everywhere. I think this would make a good mosque," he added looking around The View studio.

"Well, you understand that Bill was talking about emotion," said Colbert, being serious for a moment. "Bill was not talking about what the facts are, he was talking about what 'felt' right. And it 'feels' wrong."
Goldberg proceeded to talk over him until Colbert jumped up and said: "I am leaving RIGHT NOW" and stormed off the set. When he returned moments later, Barbara Walters exclaimed: "Bravo!" Walters has been openly critical of her co-stars for last Thursday's walk off.
