Stephen Baldwin, actor and outspoken Christian posted online Tuesday, that the Holy Spirit revealed a message to him to give to Rihanna, while he was watching her “emotional and gritty ‘What Now’ music video.”
According to The Christian Post report on March 18, Stephen said, “I usually don’t do this but just saw the @rihanna vid ’what now’ near the end they flash the cross & the next thing she sings…is ‘I don’t know where to go’ & the Holy Spirit responded with these words…’yes you do, you have known me all along, from when you were a child you remember the name of Jesus, His light on your face, His joy in your heart, You can return to Jesus.”
Baldwin then added, “[And] then perhaps by chance? The YouTube time code in the moment was 3:29…& I felt the Holy Spirit say ‘book of John’. & John 3:29 Reads as follows…29 ‘He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.”
Baldwin became a born-again Christian after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and in a past interview on CBN’s 700 Club said in part, “I believe I have a calling. Do you know what that calling is? To stand up in a new and hard core, radical way for the Lord. In the process, if I insult a couple of people, if I offend a couple of people, and if I got to shake it up a little bit, as long as it is led by the Holy Spirit, amen.”
It is not known at this time if Baldwin has tried to contact Rihanna privately.
Rihanna comes from the Christian island of Barbados, has a tattoo of a cross, and is a “big fan” of the author and Christian preacher, Joyce Meyer, but it’s uncertain if she is a practicing Christian.
