An Arkansas couple, Stephen and Terri Weaver, set out on a day-long fishing trip and ended up winning two large lottery jackpots that day, Time NewsFeed reported on Feb. 5.
Stephen and Terri Weaver stopped at T-Ricks convenience store and picked up a lottery ticket then headed to a fishing spot in Pangburn, Ark. They stopped at T-Ricks, which is approximately 60 miles from Little Rock, and decided to buy another lottery ticket on their way home.
The Arkansas Lottery commission announced that the first ticket the Weavers bought that day at T-Ricks was a $1 million winner. The second ticket the Weavers bought at T-Ricks on their way home from their fishing trip was a $50,000 winner.
The Arkansas Lottery Commission told the Associated Press that Stephen and Terri Weaver claimed their winnings on Monday and plan to use the money to pay bills and invest in their retirement.
