Stephanie Ragusa and Debra Lafave: What’s wrong with Tampa teachers? (videos)
Both Stephanie Ragusa and Debra Lafave have been charged and convicted of having sex with their underage students. Many in the community have asked what’s wrong with Tampa’s teachers? Debra Lafave both women taught middle high school in Hillsborough County schools.
Stephanie Ragusa and Debra Lafave are not the first Tampa Bay teachers to be arrested for underage sex and they won’t be the last. Teacher/student sex has been met with a wide variety of reactions ranging from men who ask the question, “Where was she when I was in school?” to “Why aren’t these pedophiles being locked away for life?”
Debra Lafave states that she was raped when she was 13 and Dr. Alan Lipman, a Washington D.C. based clinical psychologist states that many women who rape do have a history of sexual abuse. He says that this is not often seen with male offenders. Debra Lafave said during her interview that young boys are not the same as they used to be, indicating that they are more sexually aware.
Dr. Alan Lipman brought the conversation back to bipolar disorder. He spoke of how bipolar disorder is linked to hyersexuality and impulsive behavior. Debra Lafave’s diagnosis of bipolar disorder was brought into her court proceedings. There has been no mention of whether or not Stephanie Ragusa has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
Stephanie Raugsa pled guilty to charges this week and will be sentenced in June. Debra Lafave accepted a plea deal. Both women will be lifelong registered sex offenders.

What's wrong with Tampa teachers? What's wrong with those who say what's wrong? Are you whom ask the question 'what is wrong' living in some sort of shell or something? What about your personal life? Tell us how you can declare yourself completely free of guilt when it comes to acts of consenxual sex in your own personal lifetime. The world wants to know. Now after you've stuttered and stammered trying to come up with excuses and justifications for your own actions but can't seem to complete one sentence perhaps now is the time you should consider the way you accuse everyone else of things that just might be in common with yourself, and that includes things you may have engaged in during your upbrining. I have just about had it with the soap opera drama people create by publicizing the personal and private lives of other people, all in an efort to help the accuser feel and somehow look better than those they accuse.

Pedophilia...is inappropriate...If you have a 25-30 yr old MALE teacher having "consensual" sex with a 12-14 yr old girl...it is still inappropriate...now reverse the roles...STILL inappropriate.

There isn't a chance in hell that these boys are traumatized. Boys at that age are walking hormones and yes, no doubt it is illegal in all states. The difference between boys and girls if it must be spelled out is that boys want to have sex as soon and as often as possible, it's brain chemistry. Girls don't. If LaFave was my teacher at the ripe old age of 14 I'd be dancing in the halls and rejoicing every day. You couldn't keep me out of school with a teacher like that. Hell I'd go to school with a bloody stump from a traffic accident. He's not suffering ladies, and likely he'll remember those encounters with a huge grin on his face until he's laid in the grave (no pun intended).
