We are beginning to see signs from Mother Nature that she will graciously grant us spring. Little tell tale signs with the slightly warmer dewy weather and the sun hanging out with us a little past its curfew. There’s always something promising about spring time. For those who live in the northern part of the country, the tell tale signs may not be as evident yet, but don’t worry, Mother Nature will soon be showing you the first signs that spring is on its way.
A great deal of events normally happens around this time. Whether it is a personal event, for example, a long planned vacation with the children to Disney, college students living up to the expectation of wild nights and frolicking in their swimwear, being tossed upside down to the mercy of the keg or the ever so predictable house work, home owners have to partake in, for the change in seasons – Spring cleaning. Or the start of a local event likes Look 3: Festival of the Photograph. We also are graced with Cherry Blossoms, beautiful green scenery and a visit from nature’s new offspring.
It is almost a way of forgiving winter for keeping us indoors, cold and surviving the inevitable Flu Virus season. Away go the heavy coats, layered outfits, snow shoes and boots. Gone are the days of waking up a little earlier to heat up the car and scrape off the lingering ice of the windscreen. Winter is not all bad. The joys of Christmas always bring cheer. Time spent with loved ones and enjoying the festivities that come with the season also hold a special place for winter in our hearts. As long as the cold season is, we are still grateful for that. So let’s start saying our goodbyes and prepare for the new season. Let the Spring Fever hit and enjoy what many great things Spring has to offer.
