Stella McCartney shows off Autumn 2013 collection at New York event

Stella McCartney showed off her very new and very modern Autumn 2013 collection in New York on Tuesday at Park Avenue's Americas Society Art Gallery.

She packed the event with models and top names such as Ana Wintour, Nancy Shevell, Mary Louise Parker and Alec Baldwin just to name a few.

Thirty-two outfits included black and white stripes which were one super hot trends we could see in the shorts dresses, low slung pants and blouses. Camel capes and coats with retro detailing added a touch of classic design. Long maxi dresses with bold color pops were added for dramatic effect.

Chunky loafers which looked like a bit like retro pilgrim shoes paired welll with the modern pieces. Jewelry was oversized and python was a popular material for the purses.

This is a collection that will surely be embraced by the celeb set. These are looks that could carry you easily from day to night. McCartney told WWD that the collection "reminded me of my mom-high luxe. "

Monochromatic is the word for the Stella McCartney Autumn 2013 collection.
