Stefanie Spielman dies at 42

If you were staying up late, watching OSU Basketball, then you may have heard the hall of famer, Dick Vitale, make a heartbreaking announcement, “...tonight, Chris Spielman loses his wife to cancer.”

Although, today we mourn the loss of a great woman, a loving mother, a supportive wife, and a dedicated child of God; we can also celebrate the joy that she is now experiencing - cancer free in the arms of her Heavenly Father.

Chris and Stefanie Spielman have been leading the charge in the fight against breast cancer ever since Stefanie was first diagnosed in 1998, raising more than $6.5 million for cancer research. They have both been an inspiration to millions across the country.

When you take time to pray today, remember Stefanie, Chris, and their four children - Madison, Noah, Macy and Audrey.

The Spielman family are a great example of the Christian faith. Because of this family, many have seen what it means to be committed to Jesus Christ, even when it hurts.
