The high school basketball tournament will start next week.
Plenty of games this week will determine tournament seeding.
The Stearns Minutemen will make the trip from Millinocket to Dexter this evening for a class C boys battle against the Tigers.

Stearns (11-5) is currently seeded seventh in the MPA standings. Dexter (9-7) is eighth.
The top five teams in class C avoid a preliminary round game and advance to the quarterfinals at the Bangor Auditorium.
Teams six through eight will host a prelim game.
The winner of tonight's battle will at the very least clinch a home prelim game. They will also be in contention for a top five spot.
Dexter will finish the regular season on Friday when they host Orono.
Stearns will play their final regular season game on Wednesday when they take the short trip to face rival Schenck.
Bangor Christian (11-4) will travel to Deer Isle-Stonington (12-4) this evening in a class D boys battle between two of the top six teams.
Bucksport (8-8) will host Central (4-12) at 7 p.m. tonight.
Bucksport is currently seeded sixth in the MPA class C boys basketball standings.
Central will need to win their final two games for a chance for the 11th and final tournament spot in class C.
Orono (4-12) can lock down the final class C boys tourney spot with one win in their final two games.
The Red Riots will host Penquis (15-1) this evening.
