Steal a car this Labor Day Weekend

That's right, steal a car this Labor Day weekend!  Traditionally, Labor Day Weekend is the absolute best time to grab a steal on the vehicle of your choice.

Car sellers around the country are dying to make you a deal because it is around this time, that they have the highest inventory supply of vehicles and they'd like to move them out.  The deal formula is pretty simple--high volume, equals great savings.

Chug, a popular search engine website for cars, examined the most overstocked models across the country and released its list of the top 50 automobiles, that offer some penny-pinching deals for consumers this weekend, mostly for 2012 model vehicles.

According to the CEO of Chug, Len Short, “If you are currently in the market for a new vehicle, there is no better time to buy than this Labor Day weekend. Chug data reveals that the tsunami has had less of an impact on inventory supply than anticipated and this, combined with an economic climate that has tightened consumer wallets, has left many dealerships substantially overstocked. Car buyers will find some of the most popular vehicle models like the Ford F-150 and the Honda Odyssey on the over-supply list, as well as the much buzzed-about Chevrolet Volt."

The Toyota Prius is on the Chug list which is an eye-raiser because the hot-selling vehicle typically sells for sticker or over.  Although Chug says, the site maps inventory sites to compare what’s on lots versus what should be there this time of year, you might want to do your homework a smidge further and check out Kelley's Blue Book to scope out any incentives.
