Despite a gusty northwesterly wind between 15-20mph(with higher gusts) in the morning, the wind subsided as clouds moved in due to a short wave pushing through the Delmarva overnight. We reached a high of 69 at Philly International this afternoon.
Overnight it will cloudy(especially south), but we should stay dry with showers staying south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Lows will be in the upper 40s. The clouds push out by the morning on Tuesday and this will leave us with sunshine, but that pesky northerly wind as highs approach the upper 60s.
Come Wednesday we'll be in that same ballpark ahead of a warm front that will push through overnight into Thursday; there may be some light rain with the initial passage, but behind that warm front highs will be in the middle 70s and then rounding out the work week around 80! This weekend we'll have showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, but with highs in the lower 80s on Saturday I don't think many will mind the little taste of summer!
