Stay True to Yourself While in a Relationship

See also

Some people will do anything once they are in a relationship. They are so scared of losing the other person that they often lose themselves.

It is very important that when you are in a relationship you stay true to yourself. Just because you are with somone does not mean that anything has to change. You do not have to give up what makes you happy and most importnat never change your beliefs or who you are.

When someone wants to be with you they will be with you. They will accept you as you are and you should do the same. They will not pressure you to do anything you don't want to do and you shouldn't either. They won't give you an ultimatum or threaten to leave if you do not give them what they want. Loving someone means putting the other person's needs before your own.

If you love to write or hang out with friends you could still do it. It's all about balance. Someone could love you and not make you change anything about yourself. No matter what happens always stay true to yourself. Never change who you are for a guy or try to be someone your not. In the end it all comes out and lying and manipulation is not love. Love is out there. It is all about the right person and the right time. In the meantime be yourself, have fun and sooner or later you will meet the one.
