It’s official. The who's who in marketing are all traveling to San Diego this May – and although it will most likely be 72 and sunny – I can tell you they aren’t coming to our beautiful city for the weather. Well… at least not entirely.
On May 15-16, San Diego will play host to the famed Interactive Day San Diego (#IDSD), and the lineup of speakers is worthy of a red carpet affair. If you know marketing, then you know you’d be in good company with David Shing, Rand Fishkin and Mari Smith taking the stage. Those three names alone are worth the price of admission, but that’s just the beginning.

I can’t help but tempt you a tad further in stating that the conference is being held on the water at the Hilton Bayfront San Diego. As this is my backyard I really can’t think of a better locale for a conference. A little mixture of sunshine, networking, talking shop and learning from industry experts makes for an ideal getaway...maybe even tack on a few extra days here in sunny San Diego if you are from out of town.
