For many families along the shoreline Stay and Play, LLC of Old Saybrook has provided a great outlet for their children birth to age 7. Now the fun doesn’t have to stop there as they’ve opened a new game room for children ages 6-12.
Some of the games included in the older children’s room are basketball, skeet ball and foosball. Admission is $8. The room is open to the older children on the weekends and during school breaks, while the rest of the facility is open to the younger children every day from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For those unfamiliar with Stay and Play it is located at 175-2 Elm Street in Old Saybrook. It allows safe and fun open play all day, which includes a huge indoor playground, a train table, a crawlers area and many age appropriate toys. The facility is also adult friendly with coffee for sale, comfortable seating and free wi-fi. There is a variety of healthy food for purchase as well.
To celebrate the opening of the new game room there will be a special two for the price of one event for children 6-12 on Sunday February 5. There will also be free coffee for anyone wearing a Jets jersey.
