"The State Theatre is deeply saddened to announce the passing of State Theatre President & CEO Mark W. Jones on May 12th following a long battle with cancer."

“The State Theatre and the entire arts community have lost a remarkable leader and an amazing human being. Mark dedicated his life to the arts, inspiring everyone whose life he touched,” stated Warren R. Zimmerman, State Theatre Chairman. “No words can adequately express our sadness at his passing, nor our gratitude for the opportunity to work with him.”

A celebration of Mark’s life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers and gifts, Mark’s wish was that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
