‘State of Decay’ shambles closer to release by entering a pre-certification test (Photos)

Undead Labs announced today that their upcoming Xbox Live Arcade game, “State of Decay,” is currently undergoing an inspection from the title’s publisher to determine if the zombie game is officially read to undergo Microsoft certification. This would put “State of Decay” one huge step closer to release. The official word from Undead Labs today was the following.

There are people from our publisher looking at the game and deciding if we're ready to formally begin the cert process. Knock wood!

As the developer understood the process, this would be a short inspection to see if the zombie game is ready for certification. All games must go through this final cert test before being allowed on Xbox Live. The certification process itself could be lengthy, but it is the final step a game must make in order to see an actual release.

State of Decay” is currently under development from Undead Labs and will allow players to attempt to live through a zombie apocalypse by gathering a group of survivors and building their own stronghold.
