September 27, 2012

In these economic times, it does get harder and harder to spend quality time with your children at an affordable price. The State Fair of Texas is such a wonderful Dallas-Fort Worth tradition that many families strive to make it to the fun and festivities every year. If you are having trouble finding ways to trim budgets to attend, here are some ways that you can score discount tickets to the State Fair of Texas.

The State Fair of Texas opens at Dallas' Fair Park beginning September 28, 2012 and ends on October 21 for a month long event that has rides, thrills, exhibits, corny dogs and more. Long being the tradition for the annual Prairie View A&M versus Grambling State football game on October 6th along with University of Texas taking on the University of Oklahoma on October 13th, these football rivalries are just a part of the fair traditions. Frito Lay will also be trying to break the world record for the largest Frito pie on October 1, to mark the 80th anniversary of the famous snack.
