Starved Husky and cat found dead in Calgary alley, reward offered for tips

A starved Siberian Husky and cat were found dead a week apart in a Calgary alley. Both animals were found with their mouths taped shut. Donations have been pouring in towards a reward for anyone with a tip leading to those responsible. As of January 21, 2013, the reward amount passed $53,000.

The Calgary Humane Society has called the case one of intentional cruelty. Further investigation has revealed that both animals suffered abuse prior to their deaths.
