Starting Today!

The bible says, Today is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it! That means that everyday is a new day of enormous possibilities! You can choose to be all that GOD created you to be today!

Life is only hard when you make it hard…That does not mean that there are not challenges that you face, but how you face them is your choice.

Getting healthy is not always easy, but it can be done. When you make the decision that you are worth it! You truly are.

Being healthy means that you make the decision that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. What you think effects your body, what you eat effects your body, and what you do or don’t do effects your body.

When you put toxins in your body, your body can’t operate in an optimal way. When you feel tired or run down, it is not always about lack of sleep but more about what you eat!

So how do you start? Education is the first step. Educating yourself about your body is one of the most important things you can do. Learning about the things that energize you rather than slow you down is key. Habits good or bad are developed by what you think, so how you think has a direct result of how you feel, and how you feel is a direct result of what you do to your body.

Starting today, make a commitment to getting healthy. Will it be easy? Not in the beginning because old habits are hard to break!

Your body houses all your memories, past, present and even your future. You do a lot of things because that is what you are use to doing. Change is challenging but making the decision to get healthy is well worth the discomfort you may feel in the beginning.

Starting today, get real with yourself. First, take a good hard look at yourself and ask the question, am I satisfied with how I feel and/or how I look. Second, look yourself in the eyes and affirm to yourself that you want to do better and be better! Third, accept that you didn’t get unhealthy in a day, and it will take more than a day to reverse those old habits, but It Will Be Done!

There is no quick fix, no magic pill or potion that will make you healthy or thin overnight, accept that! Look at what you are about to eat, and ask yourself is this easing my body, or dis-easing it.

Starting today, commit to change, invest in your health, eat right, get plenty of rest, exercise, and reduce stress.
