That backdoor front provided an onshore wind all day along with the stubborn clouds that didn't start to break until the late afternoon. After a low of 54 this morning we only reached 50 at Philly International Airport and in fact there was even a trace of rain recorded this morning!
Overnight it will remain cloudy with even some light rain as lows will be in the lower 50s; Friday will feature a mixture of sunshine and clouds as we'll have a short wave pushing by to the north; highs will be around 70 and a northerly wind. Overnight lows will be in the middle 50s and then morning clouds on Saturday will give way to sunshine in the afternoon as highs will be in the lower 70s.
Sunday will be in the middle 70s while Monday will be in the lower 80s with high pressure and a southerly wind on top of us. Come Tuesday a cold front will push in from the west with showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90 and overnight lows will be around 70 while the front lingers around for Wednesday with highs in the middle 80s.
