As each year ends and another begins, you can always count on one thing from SweetWater Brewing Company (Atlanta, Georgia): Happy Ending Imperial Stout will be there to help you with the transition. This year is no different and you can currently find this delicious stout on shelves in Alabama and throughout SweetWater's distribution area.
Happy Ending is a dry hopped imperial stout that is SweetWater's winter seasonal in their Catch and Release Series. This sizable brew boasts notes of roasty malts, chocolaty goodness, and the delectable bite of citrus hops. The hefty dose of hops makes Happy Ending the perfect beer to enjoy fresh or you can put it in your cellar for a few years to allow the malts to take over and those hops to mellow. Here is Happy Ending's description from the brewery:
This Imperial Stout is brewed with Centennial and Willamette hops and finished off with a dry-hop addition of Cascade and Simcoe hops. Measuring out at a whopping 9% ABV, the award winning brew is a true dry-hopped stiffy with an explosive finish.
Happy Ending is available now in wax dipped 22 oz. bottles and in six packs of 12 oz. bottles. You should have no trouble tracking this beer down at your more craft beer friendly retailers, bars, and restaurants in Alabama. Do not hesitate too long because Happy Ending is available for just a limited time as it is scheduled to disappear by the end of February. Believe me when I say this beer is willing and able to please the palate of any craft beer lover, so secure your Happy Ending before it is too late. Prost!
